Interview Skills
All Y13 student participate in the College’s Interview Skills Evening in March. This is an important opportunity to learn about filling in application forms, preparing for an interview, and presenting yourself well to an interviewer.
Please fill in the form you receive by email and return it by the deadline in that email. Make sure that you fill in the section “JOB/COURSE TITLE FOR WHICH YOU WISH TO APPLY” as this will be used to match you to an interviewer from a related field.
Students will take turns to act as interviewers, to observe and give feedback on the interviews, and to be interviewed by a panel.
The dress code for the event is formal interview attire – trousers, shirt and tie for boys and trousers/skirt and smart top for girls. This makes the interviews feel more realistic and gives the opportunity to practice dressing in an appropriate fashion for future interviews.
All students should arrive in good time as the interviews will commence at 7pm sharp.
A list of the groups for interviews will be posted in study and you must sign this list to confirm your attendance.
